The hotel, "Locanda Alfieri" is located in the heart of an ancient town called Termoli.
An hidden gem where the fortified walls and its castle date back to the Swabian Empire. It was Frederick II who first chose the town as a strategic point for its coastal defences.
You will also discover the majestic Romanian Cathedral, dedicated to "Saint Mary of purification". Inside a coffin containing the relics of San Basso. Patron Saint of Termoli known for the discovery of "Timothy’s relics", Saint Paul’s famous disciple from 1945.
Inside the antic walls, you will have the opportunity to explore and come upon countless typical restaurants, shops of all kinds. While just outside the walls you could also choose to stroll in the city centre and enjoy a satisfying shopping session.
Within minutes, walking from the reception, you can easily reach the railway and bus station. The nearest highway exit is within 6km.
Our charming town dips in the sea! On one hand the beach , on the other the harbour with official ferry access to the preserved, and astonishing TREMITI ISLANDS.

BY TRAIN: The hotel is very close to Termoli’s train station. Easily reachable on foot walking through the streets of the historical old town, or by taxi.
BY CAR/HIGHWAY: Reachable both from the Termoli exit, A14 motorway, and from the Vasto Sud exit, continuing heading toward San Salvo.
BY PLANE: The closest airport is Pescara - Abruzzo International Airport and Bari Airport. Only 1 hour far from Termoli by train or by car.
BY BUS: Termoli is well connected with several cities.
